After graduating from Towson University, Jeff’s career in advertising began at Trahan, Burden & Charles Advertising (TBC, Inc.) of Baltimore, in the agency’s stat camera room. He was quickly promoted after winning a New York Andy Award and a London International Award in his first year.
During his second year, Jeff was selected as the Art Director of a small TBC creative team bound for Reno, Nevada. The group was sent to Reno to open TBC’s west coast office and represent the agencies premier account, Harrah’s Entertainment corporate. This included work on Harrah’s national brand image and direct retail work for all of its western properties.
After three years in Reno, Jeff returned to the East Coast to accept the position of Associate Creative Director with James Bunting Advertising (JBA), a Lancaster, PA firm. At this agency Jeff had significant national brand and new business responsibilities. The agency’s national clients included, DuPont StainMaster Carpets, Burpee Seed Company, Pfaltzgraff, Pennsylvania House and Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry.
Later, Jeff returned to TBC’s Baltimore headquarters to assume the position of Associate Creative Director. His duties also included campaigns for several Harrah’s riverboat properties as well as other TBC accounts.
Jeff joined his father’s insurance firm in 2002, first handling all agency advertising and marketing duties and later serving as its executive vice president responsible for the oversight and supervision of all personnel and the day-to-day operations of the company.
Jeff left the family business July 2011 and returned to the agency side specializing in web design/development.
